Digital Intelligent and Scalable Control for Renewables in Heating Networks
DISTRHEAT (Digital Intelligent and Scalable conTrol for Renewables in HEAting neTworks) is a research project funded by the European Commission through ERA-Net Smart Energy Systems (SES).
The project is led by University of Parma (Italy). The consortium also involves Mälardalen University (Sweden), Siram Veolia (Italy), Mälarenergi AB (Sweden) and First Control Systems AB (Sweden).
DISTRHEAT General Assembly Ordinary Meeting
On May 11th, we had our General Assembly Ordinary for the DISTRHEAT project, funded by ERA-Net Smart Energy Systems. We talked about the future of DHC networks with Costanza's window open to Giro d'Italia passing through Parma.about DISTRHEAT General Assembly Ordinary Meeting
New publication for DISTRHEAT
Our latest work on advanced model-predictive control of district heating networks is now available from Applied Energy! Costanza Saletti, a doctoral student from University of Parma, has proposed a smart control approach for the city of Västerås based on the concept of State of Charge for the thermal inertia of the DHN.about New publication for DISTRHEAT
